Throughout my life, I have been fundraising for Alex’s Lemonade Stand. My dad was actually at the first one I ever held when I was 6, and every year since then I have held a stand. It grew from a small idea, into an entire family day! All of my siblings now are also involved in setting up the lemonade stand each year. Since 2010, we have raised over 25 thousand dollars.

During quarantine, I wanted to find a way to continue the mission of my non profit, but everything seemed to be on hold. I did not want to sit around and wait for this virus to come to an end, so I created a fun way to raise money. March Madness was cancelled due to COVID-19, and I wanted to somehow bring that back for people.
I found a bracket online of the best Disney/Pixar movies and had it play out March Madness style. There were some crazy upsets in the bracket, and Toy Story ended up winning. I raised a little over 1 thousand dollars, and with that money bought 2 PS4s and a few controllers, all of which I donated to Nemours/Alfred I. DuPont Hospital for Children.
